Contracting and Onboarding
Every paid RUINE engagement comes with contracting and onboarding. The work begins with a shared understanding of the assignment and the terms under which it will be carried out.
First we define the assignment
We review the business situation and confirm the appropriate starting point. The proposal or written scope identifies the business questions, deliverables, boundaries, participation and investment for that engagement. A starting price on the website is not a complete scope.
Then we put the agreement in place
Contracting confirms the legal parties, scope, fees, payment arrangements, working dates, client responsibilities, approvals and any specialist arrangements. It also addresses confidentiality, ownership and licenses, changes to scope, cancellation, rescheduling and any applicable refund or credit terms. You receive the terms relevant to your purchase before you commit to it.
A payment link records payment for the stated offer. It does not replace the engagement agreement or grant RUINE permission to add unagreed work. If you have a payment link but have not received its scope or commercial terms, contact theconversation@ruine.co before paying.
Onboarding prepares the work
Once the agreement and required initial payment are in place, we confirm the primary contacts, arrange the working calendar, provide intake instructions and agree on access to the relevant materials. Existing commitments, approval authority and required participation are made clear before substantive work begins.
Send existing materials through the method agreed for the engagement. Please do not send passwords, payment-card details, patient records or other sensitive personal information through a general website inquiry.
The Autopsy
The examination follows its agreed business question and boundaries. The findings, supporting material, review session and final record are confirmed in the scope. Detailed planning, production, implementation and subsequent engagements are separate unless expressly included. Onboarding confirms what we need from your team and how the examination will run.
During the engagement
Changes to the assignment are discussed and agreed before additional work is undertaken. The signed engagement documents govern the project; website descriptions explain the offer but do not override those documents.
