Cookie and Technology Notice

Effective November 3, 2026

This notice explains browser technologies and external resources used with ruine.co. Read it with our Privacy Policy.

Security and essential functions

Hosting, delivery and security services may set cookies or process technical request information to protect the site, manage traffic and detect automated abuse. A Cloudflare security cookie named __cf_bm was observed during review. WordPress may use additional cookies for authorized staff who sign in. These staff functions are separate from an ordinary public visit.

Display and browser storage

Some pages request font files and stylesheets from Google Fonts. That connection can disclose technical information, including your IP address and the requested resource, to Google. WordPress may store a browser capability result for features such as emoji display. A technology can process information without being an advertising cookie.

Forms and payments

Forms send the information you choose to provide to RUINE’s receiving systems. Stripe checkout operates on a separate service and may use its own security, payment and device technologies. Its notice and controls apply when you use that service. A link to a third-party website takes you to that provider’s own environment.

Advertising and analytics

RUINE does not currently operate a cross-site advertising program on this website. If we add optional analytics, advertising or additional embedded tools, we will review their data use and provide any notice, consent, opt-out or other control required for that use. An essential security function and an advertising tool should not be treated as the same thing.

Your controls

You can manage or delete cookies and site data in your browser. Restricting essential storage may affect functionality. Browser Do Not Track signals do not change essential processing. We address any applicable legal opt-out requests, including relevant Global Privacy Control requests, under the law that applies. Contact theconversation@ruine.co about a technology or privacy choice.
