Make the thinking usable.

RUINE’s teaching for leaders and teams. A room to see differently, work through a real question, and put the thinking into practice.

For established businesses and founders with a defined offer ready to move.

The brief begins with what people need to understand and do.

The situation

People need to understand the thinking well enough to use it.

A team can hear the direction and still struggle to make decisions from it. Leaders may need a new perspective. A group may need room to work through an actual question. Sometimes the learning needs to happen alongside the making.

Academia is RUINE’s teaching for leaders and teams, in three forms: Lecture, Labs, and Studio. The right format begins with the people in the room and what they need to leave able to understand or do.

Recognize the moment

You may be here because…

  • Leadership needs a shared way to think about a brand or customer-experience question.
  • A team understands the theory but needs help applying it to its own work.
  • A new direction needs to become clearer through discussion and practice.
  • You want the people carrying the work to develop stronger judgment around it.

Three forms

Choose the kind of room the learning needs.

01 / Perspective

Lecture

A group needs an idea made clear.

A teaching format for introducing a point of view, framing a question, and giving people a shared basis for discussion. The subject and audience are established in the brief.

What you leave with

  • A clearly framed subject and audience
  • An agreed teaching brief
  • A shared point of view to take into the work

02 / Application

Labs

The team needs to work with the thinking.

A working format for exploring a relevant question and applying ideas to the team’s context. The brief determines what participants will work through and what they need to take away.

What you leave with

  • A defined question or learning objective
  • A guided working format
  • An agreed application to the team’s context

03 / Practice

Studio

People need to learn alongside the making.

An applied format that connects thinking, creative judgment, and work in progress. The assignment establishes the material the group will work on and the direction the learning needs to support.

What you leave with

  • A defined applied-learning assignment
  • Direction around the work in the room
  • A clear purpose for the next application

How we shape it

Begin with the people and the purpose.

  1. 01

    Name the room.

Who is attending, what do they already know, and what is happening around their work?

  2. 02

    Define the learning.

What should be clearer, and what should participants be better equipped to do afterward?

  3. 03

    Agree the format.

RUINE shapes the subject, format, and scope around that brief before the engagement is confirmed.

Before you inquire

A few useful answers.

Are these open-enrollment courses?

This page is an invitation to discuss a learning brief for a group. Dates, access, and any open sessions are confirmed separately.

Can Academia support a larger RUINE engagement?

Yes. Teaching may support a team’s understanding or application of an agreed direction. We establish whether that learning belongs within the larger scope or as its own engagement.

Do I need to know which format to request?

Describe the group and what you want the experience to accomplish. We can determine the format from there.
